The Holy Spirit is so wonderful and faithful. I come to Him this morning feeling weak and downcast. So I ask Him for a Scripture to lift me up. He does not speak, so I go to Biblegateway and there is His answer:
[Psalm 95 NIV] Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
You are so awesome Holy Spirit, so good to me! You give me this Scripture, then nudge me to play EKKLESIA, a very anointed album that goes way way back to celebrations we had in the old family room in the 70's and 80's. By the fireplace flames I played this album after all had left, and back then in the quiet and through these songs you ministered to my soul. Thank You!
AMEN! Praise and worship my God! I was wishing song words would stay in my head, but alas they rarely do. So Holy Spirit urged me to go to my song list; instead of my great songs of Julia True, I remembered EKKLESIA. So I play it, and my soul soars as sounds of anointed words and voices lift me up! Time spent singing along with these words left the downcast spirit way behind! Joy filled me, as I entered His Presence singing and worshipping my wonderful loving God! It’s Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Holy Trinity so perfectly fulfilling my every need!
Oh, my Lord, words can never voice the wholeness of who I am with You, of who You are to me. I love You with my whole being! Thank You!
My friends, this morning was so blessed! If you wake up and joy has left your soul,
I advise you to begin praising God. If you are like me and singing is not your gift, play anointed songs. You may well have your favorite, so play the music and sing along. When songs have Scripture words they are especially powerful. Hearing and speaking brings extra power to the spirit! These words can raise up your spirit and pour divine power and strength into your being, lifting you into the very Presence of God Himself!
My friends, as we enter into the holidays / Holy Days, let us be drawn deeply into the seeking of a closer relationship and understanding of the mighty love of God for us!
