Psalm 33:8-11 (The Message) Earth-creatures, bow before God; world-dwellers—down on your knees! Here's why: He spoke and there it was, in place the moment He said so. 10-12 God takes the wind out of Babel pretense, He shoots down the world's power-schemes. God's plan for the world stands up, all his designs are made to last. Blessed is the country with God for God;
Keep working in me Lord. I am so not-ready for this task. You have so much work to do in me. i know this for sure because I thought I was ready. I can never be as ready as You require until I truly rely fully on You. No false humility, because You know the deepest motives of the heart. Help me dig out and expose the deepest thoughts that are not of You Lord! I claim this Scripture as truth in my heart:
Phil 2:13 For it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you, energizing, [and creating] in you the power and desire] both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
Lord, You are working in me effectually; it is You creating and energizing me both to will and to work for Your good pleasure, satisfaction and delight. Your Word says it, so it must be true.
Philippians 2:12-13 (The Message)
What I'm getting at, friends, is that you should simply keep on doing what you've done from the beginning. When I was living among you, you lived in responsive obedience. Now that I'm separated from you, keep it up. Better yet, redouble your efforts. Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God's energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.
Father You show us Your huge heart. Give us a heart like Yours for Your people! Father put Your love for others in us, always functioning from love. Let our prayers overflow with love. Pray thru me Father with the indomitble love You have for others. Let them know how mighty is Your love for them. You are the Potter, we are the clay. Make of us instruments You can use mightily. We refuse to settle for mediocre, for we desire to be powerfully used by You, and fully who You created and purposed us to be.
Come Lord Jesus, our Rock! Continue to work in us as You promised.
Into my heart He spoe these words:
"Love each other; just live a life of loving. Just speak My word out of your mouth to lodge in their hearts. Fear not. There is nothing to fear. Am I not enough? Can I not do it? Trust in Me. Rest in Me. Call Me to be in you, to work in you. I love you!
Jesus said "Come home for more faith to be poured into your breastplate of righteousness, to strengthen your faith. Come it is pure gold and I will pour it into you. Come with your hungry heart; run into My open arms! Let Me hug you. I love you! Nothing can harm you. I have called you by your name; you are Mine! Just trust in Me."
Isaiah 43:1-2 ... I have called you by your name; you are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.
Cast Up A Highway is a book that builds the breastplate, a piece of armor covering and protecting the chest, the heart of the warrior. This message of the book builds an iron-strong covering of protection over the heart of the reader who constructs the highway within themselves. It is a spiritual strength of pure gold and nothing of the enemy can penetrate it. It is constructing a personal love relationship with God Himself and that is why it is impenetrable.
Lord God, its Your peiple in our nation. Help us continue to fight this battle for our country. Love conquers all... the enemy cannot fight, has no weapon that can come against love. Fill Your children’s hearts so full of Your love, for I know, Lord, love is our greatest weapon and our strongest defense. We trust in You!
Ephesians 6:13-15 (New King James Version) Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth,having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
We know Lord, Your love flowing through us builds up that breastplate of righteousness. Our relationship~ building our intimacy with You, mighty God,~ constructs our breastplate of righteousness.
