What God Can Do 2

Posted on October 28, 2016 at 7:40 AM

Lord, time is slipping and sliding by, and I am on the sidelines watching it as I would a flooding river grabbing everything in its way to carry along. I am horrified and fascinated at the same time. Horrified at its roaring domination on its uncaring journey; fascinated by it’s raw power. Time swiftly passing does the same, except there is a power of good that is within my reach.

Your unconquerable power, my God, I glorify! Our world is Your world. You have not created it to abandon it. You did not create this nation to walk away from it. Israel was/is Your favored people and You cared for them. They frustrated You with their disobedience and following of the ways of the world, worshipping other gods. But they repented and came back, and You forgave them. They did however suffer natural consequences for their sinful ways.

You created this land Lord, and You led our early leaders to create this nation. It is Yours. But alas, we are in sin now. We murder our own babies; we accept sexual sin as a normal life style; we deliberately put our kids in harms way with shared bathrooms in schools, we dishonor our veterans. We are trying to remove You from our society, and the church has been sleeping through it all. Lord, I repent for the sins of this nation and ask for Your mercy.

Prayer warriors, let us pray to our Almighty God repenting of the sin of the nation. Let us ask for the awakening of the church, for hearts and minds that have been led astray, that they may see truth. The enemy is so clever in its deceptions, and its nets have captured many fish for its hellish fry pan. We need to stay obedient to the Lord.

Psalm 25:14-15 AMP

The secret [of the wise counsel] of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning. My eyes are continually toward the Lord, For He will bring my feet out of the net.

My God, You are more powerful, stronger by far, than is the devil. We call for Your overcoming power to reign supreme over our nation. Please Lord, help us! The Israelites wanted a king, and they got Saul. This nation is asking for an evil queen, and we could get Hillary. Lord, please do not do that to us. Remember when Abraham asked you not to destroy Sodom if he could find 20 righteous people? He could not find even 10. We have many more than that in this nation, Lord.

Now, my friends in the USA, we have the privilege to vote for a ruler over our nation. It’s a duty God gave us. We have a say in the matter. One candidate is listening to Christian leaders, the other pushes for abortion, and other ungodly behaviors. Neither is perfect, but which one can God work through? One can be used by God to bring us up out of the sin culture. The other’s goal will set us deeper into it. That my friends is the main issue, that God can work with us again to make our country strong. We have people willing to help return us to our former greatness. World wide friends, please pray earnestly for this country!

In the US we must all vote so God can work here. Please, my friends, this is our God given right to vote; do not refuse to avail yourself of the privilege for any excuse. "I don't like either one" is not an excuse! God often worked through pagan kings and pharaohs in the Old Testament. He has not changed!

Mr Trump can be used by God and has godly advisors. He is an imperfect man, but not as bad as the smear campaign of Hillary’s media portrayal. And God can work with him. Give God the opportunity, and we can bring righteousness back to this nation. Present to God the person He can work through to save our nation. It's a way God can make our beautiful country strong again.

VOTE!! VOTE!! VOTE!! VOTE!!

Thank you so much for giving everyone an extraordinarily terrific chance to read articles and blog posts from this blog. It is often very fantastic and as well , stuffed with amusement for me and my office acquaintances to visit your blog at minimum 3 times a week to read the fresh issues you will have. Of course, I'm so at all times impressed with the staggering tricks served by you. Certain 2 areas in this posting are without a doubt the very best I've had.

SEARCHING FOR A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD

                                        AWESOME GOD

 DIGGING DEEPER

Sometimes the terrible awesomeness of God hits me and sends me reeling into deep meditation. It always carries its reward of a new closeness with my God. It happened this morning. In the beginning I was distracted with my mind wandering here and yon. Then I ‘woke up’ and commanded it to return. God is so good! Holy Spirit began to lead me in prayer.

Sorry, my Lord. I come to our meeting this morning with scattered thoughts; help me, Lord, to rein them in. That You even desire to meet with me is so amazing! Deep breath. Moses asked God, “what shall I say when they ask 'Who sent me’?” You responded, “Say the Great I AM sent me.” You, God, are not hemmed in by time. For You there is no ‘was, will be’, there is only I AM. Before You I bow down my heart, my 'who I am' I submit to You; help me become who You created me to be.

Exodus 3:13-14 (AMP)

13 And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? 14 And God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am and What I Am, and I Will Be What I Will Be; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you!

  • Footnotes: Exodus 3:15 To know the name of God is to witness the manifestation of those attributes and apprehend that character which the name denotes.

Can you feel the depth of that name? 'I AM' signifies so much ~ timelessness, absolute love, supreme power, unimaginable expansion ~ an incomprehensible being, totally surrounding. There simply are not words to express the grandness of Who our God is. HIS LOVE FOR US  S SO APPARENT IN HIS WORD!

Psalm 91:14 (AMP)

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

Isaiah 52:6 (AMP)

Therefore My people shall know what My name is and what it means; therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks; behold, I Am!

Indeed my God! You are the great I AM! This measures so deep and so high and so wide. You revealed Your staggering magnificence to David, and it comes out here:

Psalm 139:1-10

O Lord, you have examined my heart

and know everything about me.

2 You know when I sit down or stand up.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Even when it’s my mind traveling on tangents.

3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.

You know everything I do.

4 You know what I am going to say

even before I say it, Lord.

5 You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

7 I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;

if I go down to the grave, you are there.

9 If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

You are always with me.

You will guide me.

You will always be my support. Your strength

upholds me, protects me, supports me.

Lord, You are so good! What a privilege to know You! Thank You that You continue to grow me closer to You. Thank You! I love being together with You, my Lord.
