Thank You Lord for the things You do for us. Thank You for your wisdom and Your help in all the blessings You pour upon us every day. They add up to feelings of safty and security.
Trusting in God is such a calming state. God loves us so much and He’s always watching over us. God is working behind the scenes when we are unaware.
A friend shared a great story the other day. His shy son had one day called and said, “I’ve met her Dad, the woman I’m going to marry. Every morning I stop at Starbucks for coffee, and she always waits on me.“
“Really son? What’s her name“ ?
“Her name is Sue.”
“Do you have her phone number?”
“Are you going to ask her out?”
Two weeks later shy Guy called again. Dad, she’s gone. She doesn’t work there anymore; and I never got her number.”
Now Guy had an older brother who worked in a hospital. His wife also worked there. A new lady had been hired, and they became acquainted. One day feeling sad for his brother who lost a potential great life partner, he invited the new acquaintance to double on a blind date with his brother and he and his wife, the four would go out together. A date was set.
When the time came for introducing the two on the blind date, they were shocked, because Guy’s blind date was Sue from Starbucks. It seems Sue had liked Guy also, and the other baristas would send Sue to wait on Guy when he came in.
Guy and Sue are now happily married! Can you see God’s hand in weaving this relationship together? Trusting God is such a right place to be. My own story told a few years ago had an intricate weaving of “coincidences” to bring my best friend, playmate, and husband and I together. With God's help our relationship will soon reach the 53rd year.
Our God is faithful! You can trust Him.

Andrew Wommack "Living in the Balance of Grace and Faith" (Go to his website and get the full training free! www.AWMI.net)
He made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
1 Corinthians 14:18, 15:9-10
18 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
Paul says, 'I am not worthy to be called an apostle, but by the GRACE of God I am what I am. . .' but I labored with the grace of God. We cooperate, work with God's grace to us, and we become who God created us to be. God works in us.
The GRACE of God is manifested (Brought into action) by our belief. Every person has God’s GRACE, but we must reach out and appropriate it = that’s faith
FAITH is our positive response to what God has provided by Grace
The Lord Almighty has sworn, “Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will happen.
Psalm 139:12-16 (AMP) Even the darkness is not dark to You and conceals nothing from You, But the night shines as bright as the day; Darkness and light are alike to You.
For You formed my innermost parts;
You knit me [together] in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks and praise to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well. You saw who you created me to be before I became me! Before I’d ever seen the light of day, the number of days you planned for me were already recorded in your book.
God had a purpose for our lives before we were even born, but we have to choose to make it happen, we must respond in faith
9 And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation. 10 The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God—and then the mouth gives thanks to salvation.
GRACE is God’s part and is given independent of us; it is unmerited, undeserved favor
John 1:16 The Passion Translation (TPT) 16 And now out of His fullness we are fulfilled! And from Him we receive grace heaped upon more grace!
Grace came by Jesus before we existed, unearned, undeserved. We are saved by grace through Faith. Now FAITH is not what I do to influence God; rather it is a positive response to what God has already done by GRACE. I must respond, accept, what He’s already provided.
Titus 2:11 (NIV) For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
1 Peter 2:2-4 The Passion Translation (TPT)
2 In the same way that nursing infants cry for milk, you must intensely crave the pure spiritual milk of God’s Word. For this “milk” will cause you to grow into maturity, fully nourished and strong for life — 3 especially now that you have had a taste of the goodness of the Lord Jehovah and have experienced his kindness.
4 So keep coming to him who is the Living Stone — though he was rejected and discarded by men but chosen by God and is priceless in God’s sight.
1 Peter 2:2 Implied by the Greek word for “spiritual” (logikos), which seems to be a play on words with what Peter says in 1:23–25 concerning the living Word (logos) of God. The “pure spiritual milk” is the sustaining power of God’s Word coming from his very breast, as it were, to nourish and strengthen our inner being. From v. 3 we can see that this “milk” is the Lord himself dispensed to us in the Word of God. Our craving for this “milk” is not only because of necessity but of delight. He is the Seed, the Word, the Milk, the Lord, and the Living Stone.
1 Peter 2:2 As translated from the Aramaic. The Greek is “grow into salvation.”
1 Peter 2:3 See Ps. 34:8; Luke 1:53.
1 Peter 2:4 The church is built on Christ, “the Living Stone.” See Ps. 118:22; Isa. 28:16.
God by grace antiseptically erases every sickness, wound, disease~ Jesus already provided by the cross in His body (He took it on) Healing grace is already provided.
1 Peter 2:24 (NKJV)
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you WERE healed.
Don't speak to God about your mountain, rather speak to your mountain about your God! You have already been healed by grace! Reach out and receive it.
James 4:7 The Passion Translation (TPT) So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you.
Proverbs 18:20 (NKJV) A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth;
From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.
Mark 11:23-24 The Passion Translation (TPT)
23 Listen to the truth I speak to you: If someone says to this mountain with great faith and having no doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea, and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done. 24 This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—believe that you have received it and it will be yours. (The grace is there. Believing is our act of faith that manifests the grace.)
Mark 11:23 The Aramaic word for doubt means “to be divided (undecided) in your heart.”
Mark 11:23 The mountain and the sea can also be metaphors. Mountains in the Bible can refer to kingdoms, and the sea represents the nations (e.g., “sea of humanity”;). Faith lifts up and brings with us the “mountain” of God’s kingdom realm when we go into the nations. The Greek word for mountain, oros, is related to a verb that means “to lift up and carry off and take with you.”
This truth Jesus brings us is more than hyperbole (exaggerated statements or claims, not meant to be taken literally); it is the active power of faith to take and carry the power and authority of the mountain—God’s kingdom realm—within us wherever we go
Reach out believing and take what God has already purchased for us with GRACE! It's already been paid for!

As I was studying my Bible the other day, it seems the words "Fear of the Lord" have brought a lot of confusion. I began meditating on the term, and In my dictionary search I found:a definition of "fear" as "reverential awe". That helped a great deal, for then "fear of the Lord" did not mean "be afraid of God", rather we must hiold Him in "REVERENTIAL AWE"
My thoughts continued~ I have a close relationship with God, but do I have fear of the Lord? I prayed, "Lord help me. Do I have reverential awe of You, or have i gotten too familiar? Holy Spirit You are awesome and great, mighty with power, the fire in my bones. You love me, and when You told me that, it drew me to You like moth to a flame. Since then, I feel Your love; know that indeed You do love me. I feel so close to You.
And You, Father God, have loved me as Your daughter and I have known that for most of my life, and love You as well. You are my Father and my God. I bow down at Your feet and place myself and my trust in You, my God, Who created the universe! You are so huge, so magnificent! Your glory fills the temple. Your power is fearsome! You speak in a still small voice so we can hear and comprehend and not be scared out of our wits by a booming sound.
Jesus, last I bow down to You, my Savior, who made it possible to have a relationship with my God. You removed my sin nature; caused me to be a true child of Almighty God, with His DNA. Your love Jesus built us a beautiful world, then You entered into it by stepping down to become human, one of us, so we could really come to know our God. Jesus sometimes I see You as less great than the Father and the Holy Spirit, I repent of that false idea. For You are full of power and grace. My God, I bow down with my face to the floor. I am totally unworthy to be in Your Presence.
Reverence = respect, honor, awe = respect mixed with wonder I sit and look at the awesomeness of the mountains, the sound of the rushing waters, the power of a water fall. I stand in the mighty wind; stagger at the lightening, and feel the booming crash of the thunder reverberate through my body. He is indeed mighty!
Then I sit in my prayer closet in the quiet of my home, and His mighty power is contained in the moments of His Presence. Listen to Hebrews 1:3 describing Jesus:
Hebrews 1:3 The Passion Translation The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor,[ the exact expression of God’s true nature—his mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the Majestic One.
Great Words of the Bible to describe Jesus who holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins. Now He sits at the right hand of the Father.
Oh Jesus for all the miracles You accomplished on earth, none even touches on Your greatness and power, Your authority over anything in this world. Your grace that flows to us is a gift of Your power; It was released at the cross and is the answer to every need we will ever have. It’s there waiting for our faith to access it. Jesus You are the answer to all our needs; I worship You for Your power and glory, Your tenderness and loving kindness.
Lord, Lord! Can I have this intimate relationship with You and also have reverential awe of You? Holy Spirit, please teach me the answer here. My spirit, soul and body, that is me. The soul is the mind, will, and emotions. The body brings information to the soul, and the soul transmits it to the spirit. Intimacy involves love. God is love. With which part of our being do we experience true love? Our heart is what God looks at ~ is it soft in love or hard in resentment?
Matthew 5:8 (AMPC)
Blessed (happy, enviably fortunate, and spiritually prosperous—possessing the happiness produced by the experience of God’s favor and especially conditioned by the revelation of His grace, regardless of their outward conditions) are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!
“You’re blessed when you get your inside world—your mind and heart—put right. Then you can see God in the outside world.
Matthew5:22 But I say to you that everyone who continues to be angry with his brother or harbors malice (enmity of heart) against him shall be liable to and unable to escape the punishment imposed
Looks like the heart involves feelings which is in the soulish realm. Yet since God is love, love is also a spiritual element. So it seems Love is bigger than just one element. Love is huge and encompasses everything surrounding God.
So I can have an intimate close relationship with You, my Lord, knowing and feeling Your love, sharing love with You, feeling Your love for me and in me. And Your love expands the universe including the universe of my inner spirit. So to answer my question, “Yes, I can share an intimate close togetherness with You and also experience reverential awe for You.” The closer I am to You, the greater You become, for the more I understand about You.
I am special to You, I know. You love the uniqueness You put in my creation; however, I also know You love all Your children uniquely, and we can each share a loving intimate relationship with You while holding You in reverential awe.
One brings together, the other separates. Only an Almighty God can put those two together successfully.

Doesn’t it feel splendid to be inside on a cold windy night? Listen to the wind howl around like a hungry frustrated nocturnal creature! As a child it became a monster in the darkness. Windows rattled, wind borne objects crashed down as bumps in the night. Trees bent low, sometimes branches loudly crack off to become morning obstructions in the road.
Yet here I cuddle comfortably in my blanket absorbed in my book, not totally oblivious to the maelstrom outside, but thankful for the warmth and shelter of my sanctuary. i heard a song the other day by Scott Krippayne; ”Sometimes He holds us close, lets the wind and waves go wild, “Sometimes He calms the storm; other times He calms His child.” I love it! God is my strong tower in the. storms of life.
Have you noticed how swiftly the months are blowing off the calendar ~ sorta like the winds are grabbing each page and ripping away the time. I actually am recalling a number of years past when we moved my Dad from Alabama to Denver. His Parkinson’s Disease had worsened. Being so far away became a dichotomy. On one hand the distance isolated me from the every day pain of watching him deteriorate; on the other hand, I worried about him. So the ‘insulation’ needed to be pulled off, other issues be faced, and true feelings exposed. We all had to deal with the loss. Seeing my Daddy as a healthy and strong rock to lean on, then having to face the results of the disease. . . was difficult.
Yet now as the years rush by, awareness opens my eyes to the reality that i can no longer qualify for the Olympics (LOL) The years are hurrying by, and as another wrinkle is noticed, energy is not the same. But there are still challenges I meet with strength and wisdom, and places where I can make a difference. So my eyes look up to enjoy the sunrises, the stars at night and all the beauty each day brings, and my mouth declares, “Let the wind blow”’.
I actually enjoy being out on a windy day, letting it rush through my hair feeling the power of God therein. It blasts the cobwebs out of my mind and leaves a freshness! I shout out “Remember where my strength comes from!”, and “Fear not, for there is nothing to fear!”. I like to lecture myself. Do you do that too?
My dear friends, as this day beckons me forth to a new task, may your spirit dance like leaves in the wind! I wish you Joy and Blessings!

Greenest of green greeted me as I awoke that first morning in Alabama. Forest of trees are all around. The house had an excellent screened in porch where we enjoyed breakfast amidst birdsong each morning. One mockingbird greeted my friend with “judyjudyjudy” repeatedly. A lovely peaceful world to break from the hilarity of life. Breathe deeply and relax.
Then it was back to Denver where the semi-desert region lacked the lush green. However, Spring is just beginning and after it finally wins the battle with winter, we will have warm sunny days as it unfolds; then softly flowing breezes will caress my face as I walk and warm sunshine fill my heart with its light and love. It reminds me of my Lord with His gentle strength. My heart rejoices as I delight in the trees dressed in white and pink blossoms, and gardens coming alive again with red and yellow tulips, joyful daffodils, sweet smelling purple lilacs, pansies turning their vibrant faces to the sun. Spring! New life! However, tomorrow it will snow and temps will dip to near freezing; sadly, winter has not given up yet. So we can only be patient till the days of Spring's full victory.
You know I get so psyched waiting for Spring, that one day there is snow on the ground, I cry aghast “Christmas in May? No!” However, in reality, this is Colorado, and we do love it! Right? And there is something about rain and snow that refreshes and washes away the grime. We don’t get a lot of it here, so when it does come, it is refreshing, and we do need it. As I was driving down the street, I glanced at the mountains and they were green, green! Beautiful!
God is so good! He replenishes our souls with the things He knows we need. Each season brings His gifts for our enjoyment. Thank You loving Lord!

Hurrah May! As Spring and Summer ease in, out pops the roses and smiling daffodils and nourishing vegetables. It's also the month where we celebrate our mothers. Mothers are life giving! They are instruments through which God can pour the music of His love. I would hope each of you was blessed by a mother like ours. My Mom was such a woman, such a lover of God, my Dad, and us. Her life was dedicated to being a godly woman. . . memories are such fun~
Memories. . . I remember every evening before Dad got home from work, she would change out of her ‘housedress’ into a nicer dress and fix her hair… when they went out she smelled so yummy, looked so pretty ~ she always did her nails holding them out as she kissed us goodbye ~ because they were not quite dry. She made sure we were dressed right for school and church, she cooked great meals, and was aways ready to help us with problems. She would stay up past midnight to type a paper for us that was due the next day. She encouraged us not to be afraid to try any good interest. She made sure we knew God. She loved the Lord and tried to pass this on to us.
She was kind and loving, and the results of her labor are evident today as I look at my siblings. This day and age it is more difficult to do the same job, but the commitment she built into us has been evident. In this day and age moms often have to work outside the home, but their dedication to family and love covers us all. It keeps us busy, but we are willing to be soccor moms, PTA associates, volunteers, members of Bible Studies, play dates, etc. Our job is a big one!
Today to each Mother I say “congratulations!” May our loving Father God continue to pour His blessings upon you and your families. It is a primary job, a crucial one today!

I learned a lesson Easter morning. I serve as one who recognizes those who choose to invite Christ into their life at a special time during the service. I bring a gift bag with a bible and other things in it. Well Easter morning I saw 2 raised hands and hurried to take the bags. But I ran ahead of God and pastor and tried to give the bag before the people had said the prayer of commitment. She was in front and pastor had to stop me by calling my name and saying “not yet”. How embarrassing, and looking back, how wrong. Where was my mind? It had run way ahead of God and forgotten to engage with Him first. It was a spotlight on my weakness of getting ahead of God and not relishing the moment and receiving all God has for me in that moment. I run ahead of Him. That morning I got it ~ I will in the future work on allowing God to be in the lead.
SO hold me back Lord, when I want to jump ahead of You. It’s like hiking a mountain trail. It is so gorgeous with the mountains like Your muscles strong and foundational. Yet along the trails are rocks, sometimes boulders that must be skirted or climbed, and there’s no hint of what is hidden around the bend. Yet my eager spirit wants to see it all and pushes me ahead. That’s good and bad.
For when I push ahead I miss things - the splendor of the way the sun’s direction has highlighted a red stone formation signaling God’s special touch. Or it could be a sudden narrowing of the trail with a long drop off, or even be the beginning of a scree field which may be very dangerous.
When I allow You to guide my footsteps I stop and become enthralled by Your creative genius, the grandeur of Your design. And as I listen to Your counsel, so many small things come together to form a whole plan showing me the way to go. Then my way is clear keeping me from unexpected hazards, and revealing the magnificent creations of Your hands.
Sometimes, my Lord, the busyness and complexity of life drowns out Your still small voice; confusion can then sneak in and I’m lost. It’s time to stop and seek You, my Lord. get my bearings from Your wisdom again. Yes, thank You Lord for holding me back and allowing Your wisdom to more strongly guide my life from now on.

I write this on Good Friday. It’s the day You, my Savior, suffered and died for us. You love us so much, You were willing to reclaim us by paying our sin debt. God created Adam and Eve as the first couple, then gave them reign over the earth. They were to be the physical carriers of God’s Spirit on the earth. However the enemy, satan, in its hatred of God, wanted to ruin God’s plan. So he manipulated Eve and then Adam to betray their Creator by disobeying the one condition He gave them~ do not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the Garden.
That sin was encoded in the nature of every human being thereafter; it jaded the relationship between God and man. But Jesus, God’s Son, chose to pay the penalty for that betrayal of God, that human sin debt. This weekend we celebrate the renewal of our relationship with God. We as humans can accept this awesome gift of Jesus, our Savior; we simply repent of our personal sins, and ask Jesus to now be the Lord and King of our lives.
As we submit our life to Him, we become new beings with God’s DNA restored to us, lifting us up out of the pit of darkness, of hopelessness. For as Jesus was risen from the dead on Easter, we are risen with Him out of the darkness and into the light!. We dwell from now on with God inside us, leading and guiding our lives, and making His strength available to us.
Hallelujah! This Easter let us gather together in celebration and thanksgiving to our God Who loves us so deeply as His precious children! Choose to love HIm and accept Him as Your very own Savior. Start today to build your relationship with our loving God!

You are wonderful my Lord! You who created the universe including our little world in it. I get the sense that this earth is Your special gem, that You built the universe then when all was ready, You set the earth in place among the planets and stars, and the other space creations. You set it perfectly forever, and with all it’s riches! And when it was time You created mankind to live on it.
You love us so much:
Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV) The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
Ephesians 210 (NIV) For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
This is one of my fav Scriptures, because I know that not only was I created for a purpose, but God PREPARED IT IN ADVANCE FOR ME to do. It is a purpose that I am skilled to do, because He has prepared me for it and it for me.
Psalm 139:14 (NKJV) I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.
Genesis 1:27 (AMPC) So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Philippians 4:13 AMPC
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
It also gives me strength with:
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.
7 And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
My God, You are holy! Your love for us, Lord, is evident throughout Scripture. Now my Lord, I choose to learn humility, to humble myself before You. I know You love me, but perhaps I have gotten too familiar, thinking “You love me and I love You, so I take You for granted; that You are always with me protecting me”. But the truth is You are always with me protecting me, doing what is best for me. I kneel before You in thanksgiving and praise!
Holy Spirit, You are so special to me. You manifest Your personal Presence to me whenever I need You, I know You are there. I speak and You hear; I need and You answer. You teach me about Jesus reminding me of His Words. Thank You! Please help me to become who You have called me to be. I bow down to You submitting my spirit, soul, and body to You. Lead me as You wish, and I will follow. It may be hard, but with Your intention and Your help, I can do anything. It’s what Philippians 4 says:
Philippians 4:13 AMPC
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
My God, You are holy! You are love. Thank You for loving us all so well. Lord I ask You to instill in every heart that reads this blog, a deeper understanding of Your incredible caring and tender love for each of us!

Recently I told a friend that my confidence seemed less, and that was the enemy feeding me a lie. I’m sure of it because now this morning You say:
Hebrews 10:35-36 NIÂ
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Thank You my God You are our Provider!
You know, my friends, this mighty God can and will help us in every area when we ask.
Lord, I ask for wisdom on seeing truth . . . convict me of any false beliefs or thoughts, Holy Spirit. I must follow You perfectly! That is my heart's desire. Did you put that ability in me Father? Can I do that? You in me can do it.
Why did that comment bring a twinge of discomfort in me Father? Like little termite nibble of fear. Ho Ho no! Fear is of the enemy. In the name of Jesus I squash you little bug wipe you off the bottom of my shoe and go on. I serve the God of Gods and He has never failed me and He never will! I have nothing to fear.
He holds me in the palm of His hand. He has hidden me, His polished arrow, in His quiver until the time is right for it to fly, and it is honed to perfection. (Isaiah 49:2 NIV) You my God are perfect and do all things right. You pare me down to just the right size. You design me to fly by Your plans. I am totally where I want to be; in Your hands, your protection, and submitted to Your control. Hold me close every moment Lord! I love You!!
My friends, what do you think? Do you know God this way? Do you trust Him completely? Or do you have questions?
|Posted on February 27, 2019 at 4:55 AM||comments (0)|
Was watching a show on TV where two hikers were in beautiful mounain country. They spoke of the spiritual quality of areas. They were searching for answers to these questions:
Who am I?
What is my purpose?
Are these your questions also? My friends, the answers can be found. They are found in Christ. You see, You were created by God as His son or daughter. We belong to Him and He loves us dearly. WE are born in sin, but Jesus, Son of God, came to earth to teach us about His loving Father, and to shoulder the sin of the world and pay the price, the reparation for our sin. Thus in accepting Jesus gift and choosing Him as the King of our heart, we are cleansed of all our sins.
WHO AM I? I am a beloved child of a mighty Father God.
WHAT IS MY PURPOSE? IT IS TO COME TO KNOW HIM AND LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART, AND IN THAT LOVE, TO OBEY HIM. Doing this we will fulfill God's plan for our lives. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God has a good plan for our lives. He has created a path we can follow; a way to go.
He has even written a book that shows us how to do this. It is called the Bible. It's like an owners manual to a happy life moving on into a joyful eternity. My friends, these answers are true. If they are new to you, I'd be happy to share more. You can search them out yourself. I suggest you begin with Mathew in the Bible and study the New Testament. The Old Testament gives the history leading to the New Testament.
My friends, do not allow these two questions to confuse you. Know you were created by a loving God who treasures you and has a definite purpose for your life, and it is a good one! The Bible is His Word and will reveal His plan for your life. Get to know Jesus!

This morning it’s just You and me God. It feels like I am beginning a time of transition. My healing is near complete; so I transition back into full life again. It's time to retrain my good old habits where I arise early and meet my Lord each morning to spend time together. My rehab schedule was focused on healing my broken body; now I ask You Father to heal my habits formed during this time. You have work for me to do, my Lord, but first I need to sink once again deep into the intimacy of our realtionship. I miss that Lord. It's time to houseclean my heart. Dust out the cobwebs of distraction. Reopen the windows to the fresh air of the Holy Spirit. Allow the warmth of the love of Jesus to refill the atmosphere.
It's time to smile with my eyes on YOU and Your marvelous gifts . I choose to focus on You. You are the One Who created the universe and all the beautiful gifts in it just for us. I come to You for help, for You love me and You are able.
You put me in a beautiful family. You blessed me with a wonderful husband who loves me and You blessed us with beautiful kids and grandkids. Lord, my desire is to please You, yet sometimes I feel so inadequate, so lacking in strength and ability to do that; however, I know “greater are You Who live in me than he who lives in the world”. Holy Spirit help me to be who You created me to be, for now I am still unsettled, feeling like there's a cloud hanging over my head.
“The joy of the Lord is my strength”. Jesus I want Your joy. I ask for your supernatural joy; I qualify for it according to~
John 15:10-12 (Amplified Bible) If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father's commandments and live on in His love.
I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.
You, my God, are wise, the Creator of the universe. . . of all things beautiful, things on earth and beyond.
You created the physical world and the spiritual world. You created me with a physical part and a spirit part.
Psalm 139:13-16 (The Message) Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.
Oh mighty God! You do indeed know me totally. I worship You my God! Lead me, guide my words and actions. I want my life to give honor to You!

Father, thank You for Your Word. You love us so much, that You left us written instructions on how to live our lives for You, and thus have fruitfulness, prosperity, and joy filled days.
Let us examine this message from the prophet Isaiah:
Isaiah 51:2 (The Message) Committed to Seeking God
"Listen to me, all you who are serious about right living and committed to seeking God.
Ponder the rock from which you were cut,
the quarry from which you were dug.
Yes, ponder Abraham, your father,
and Sarah, who bore you.
Think of it! One solitary man when I called him,
but once I blessed him, he multiplied.
Likewise I, God, will comfort Zion,
comfort all her mounds of ruins.
I'll transform her dead ground into Eden,
her moonscape into the garden of God,
A place filled with exuberance and laughter,
thankful voices and melodic songs.
Now if we are serious about right living and being committed to seeking God, see what this verse says:
Ponder the rock from which you were cut,
the quarry from which you were dug.
We were cut from the rock of Abraham and Sarah. They believed God would do what He said despite their old age. Lord, You formed Your covenant with them and we, 1000s of years later, would be inheritors of that covenant relationship with You. It is a spiritual rock with an eternal history, and my friends, we are a part of it.
Then, Jesus came and cut a new covenant, a higher better covenant with You, our almighty God! So now we are in a deeper covenant relationship with You, able to call upon You as our covenant partner in all we do. When the enemy attempts to do us harm, You are there to protect us. When You call us to do something, we are required by covenant to do it. I always looked at what You could do for me, not about what You want me to do for You; but now I understand I am Yours to command.
Now the rest of this verse: Think of it! One solitary man when I called him,
but once I blessed him, he multiplied. Your blessings caused a miracle to happen. When Abraham was old and Sarah past the childbearing age, You gave them a son, and created a nation of Your people to grow strong. Yet they were also weak in being obedient, a stubborn people. Convict me Holy Spirit when my stubborn nature causes me to fall into disobedience, help me to repent and choose to love You and follow Your plan for my life; You are my KING of Kings, Supreme Ruler!
Likewise I, God, will comfort Zion,
comfort all her mounds of ruins.
You bring comfort when we repent and return to You. You bless us extraordinarily because You love us so much and as the father of the ‘Prodigal son’ rejoiced at his son’s repentance and return home, You rejoice when we repent and return to You!
I'll transform her dead ground into Eden,
her moonscape into the garden of God,
A place filled with exuberance and laughter,
thankful voices and melodic songs.
It’s a time for celebration! You turn our dead lives into a garden that You nurture, so it can produce fruit; our barren desert moonscape into beauty filled with exuberance and laughter, thankfulness and song! You love us so much! You not only forgive our sins when we repent, You forget them. Show us Holy One, how to be the person You have called us to be.
My friends, let’s make new choices for this new year! Choose to commit our lives to Our Creator God Who treasures each of us. This year we'ill be new crreatures living a truly New Life!

A WHOLE NEW YEAR'S WORTH OF TIME BEGINS!
FATHER, every time in 2018 that i did not heed that still small voice and got myself in a mess, I give to You, and Father I ask you to perfect it. Forgive me for my non-attendance to your urging, Holy Spirit. I repent and I ask You for this new year that You will speak louder in my ear, or perhaps that You will help me to be more attentive and hear You. Now as I step through the veil into 2019, entering into a new year in my life, Holy Spirit, I choose to be closer to You, more connected to You.
Prayer and meditation~
You are HOLY SPIRIT, the holy One. You are my God! And You are HOLY. Your holiness is a power. I want to dwell in that atmosphere of Your power. Jesus covered me with His righteousness, so I can come into Your Presence my Holy God. Teach me how to dwell in holiness with You. Love. Love is a key, for You are Love. Dwelling in your Presence is dwelling in a special place of Your power in/of holiness and of/in pure Love. Let that sweetness of Your pure love fill me and overflow from me. Yes, let me be Your love spreader wherever I go.
Exodus 31:13 (New Living Translation) “Tell the people of Israel: ‘Be careful to keep my Sabbath day, for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you from generation to generation. It is given so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.
Webster’s Dictionary: ‘holy’ from hal meaning whole. also hallow; same root in Greek- beautiful; Also consecrated or set apart to sacred use; sanctity; godliness; sacredness; holy manner; sanctity: inviolability: state of being, not violated, unprofaned; unpolluted; unbroken; not to be treated with irreverence;
Lord, You sanctify. You set apart for Your use. The Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between You, my God, and mankind. We must keep the Sabbath. Do not profane it. It is for rest, holy to God. It is given so you may know that “I am the Lord, who makes you holy.”
Father 2019 it would be good for us to take a more serious look at this Scripture, for our God has called it essential for us to follow; it represents the covenant between God and us..
So how does this work? How does God, make us holy? It was accomplished through JESUS. You Jesus, Son of God, our King, our Savior! Through Your death and resurrection, Your sacrifice removed from us the sin nature which separated us from the Father. Our spirit was unconnected from God in our sin nature, but now when we accept Jesus gift of redemption, we are made whole and sinless. We are reconnected to You my God. Thank You Jesus!
Holy also means inviolable, unpolluted, unbroken. With our sin nature gone, and with the covering of Jesus righteousness, we are unpolluted. When we chose to accept Your gift, Jesus, and to live our life for You, You purified us for Yourself. We can bow down to be anointed by You to live our life for Your purposes not our own. This year, 2019, purify our thoughts, that we may hear You speak in truth. We want to live in You as You live in us that we may be one as You Jesus say:
(John 17:21-23 AMP) That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: 23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
Enjoy a connection with God! It is His desire! He loves us so much! But the choice is ours!

Ps 33:11 The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the thoughts of His heart through all generations.
JESUS!! You are the one who won salvation for us, You bought my ticket to heaven, You walked through agony with my face before You. It was for love of me and my sisters and brothers that You made that choice. Thank You!
JESUS, You now sit at the right hand of the Father and intercede for me.
Hebrews 7:24-26 (Amp) But He holds His priesthood unchangeably, because He lives on forever. Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him,
since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.
26 [Here is] the High Priest [perfectly adapted] to our needs, as was fitting--holy, blameless, unstained by sin, separated from sinners, and exalted higher than the heavens.
Jesus! It is You who intercedes for me with my Father. Intercede for me now, Jesus. Ask the Father to surround me in His love.
He surrounded me in strong admonition saying stop being a sniveling 'poor me' character. He made me strong and indomitable and that is how I am to walk. Jesus, walk with me. Thank You! I shall walk in, love in, and trust in the power of Your love!
Jesus! You said Your joy is my strength! I have asked for Your joy as I do qualify for it. Overflow me in Your joy Jesus! Then I am strong!!
The following excerpt is taken from John G. Lake: His Life, His Sermons, His Boldness of Faith:
Adventures in God
THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN, without the indwelling power of the Spirit in the heart, is a weariness to the flesh. It is an obedience to commandments and an endeavor to walk according to a pattern which you have no power to follow. The Christian life that is lived by the impulse of the Spirit of Christ within your soul, becomes a joy, a power, and a glory.
When you and I are lost in the Son of God, and the fires of Jesus burn in our hearts, like they did in Him, our words will be the words of spirit and of fire, and there will be no death in them. Help me be lost in You Jesus! I choose Your fires to burn in my heart so my words will be of spirit and fire. My words will have no death in them.
What does that mean Jesus: Your words had no death in them? You always spoke life; Your Word is life. Speak Your Word through me Jesus! Speak with the Spirit and with fire. Your fires burn in me. They are pushing to get out to bring souls in. Lord help me be real and You do the speaking through me so it gets said right. I feel like roaring out loud like a lion. Let the lion out when the time is right Lord.
(Matt. 6:33-34 AMP) But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. (34) So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.
O Lord Your Word is swirling in me crying to be relesed.
Jeremiah 20:9 New International Version
But if I say, “I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name,” His Word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot
Lord, help me loose Your Word everywhere; You command!

December 6, 2018
I love You!
As I began this blog post, I saw that the last posting was December 6 and it simply said, "I love You!" It drew me back to that day. . .
That was the day the world began to twirl much like a “DORTHY ON THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD” experience. Except my wizard of Oz was not a fable character; rather He wasThe Almighty God of the UNIVERSE, and was the author in this story.
Seems there was a child that needed protection, and in a divine moment in time, God chose one to be His hand. A sweet 2 year old, full of eagerness of life, broke free of his mom’s hold and tore off down the line of parked cars, right in the one’s direction. She was aware of a car backing out close behind her, and knew the driver could not see a little ball of energy running pell mell towards her.
On instinct the one shouted “Stop” at the wee one; then with arms out to impede his progress ran at him; it did stop the child who proceeded to fall; the one tripped over him and crashed onto the black top.
As "Dorothy’s farm house" landed solidly in another place and time, so one’s life did also. . . ambulance, emergency room, hospital , surgery 1, surgery 2, Rehab house. . . From full active fast moving life, a full stop lever was lowered.
So where were one’s thoughts with all this? Many at the hospital asked, and her reply was, “i feel so honored that God chose me to be HIS hand in saving this child’s life. What a privilege! I am not a hero, I just accepted God’s call. It was pure instinct and many of you would have done the same. Yes, the consequence was a couple of broken bones and a trip on the wild side, sorta. Days spent some confined to a bed, a loss of sense of modesty and independence. BUT also a time of having intimate conversations with GOD.
One vision bloomed in the twilight: a child grown up in a family of love following God’s perfect plan; loving parents doing the same. also came a glance of another "could have been" possible outcome of sorrow anger and conflict and destruction of a prefect plan of the CREATOR. But His intent for good for many lives was rescued.
Who knows what even small actions of ours affect the lives of the many? If we think about our lives, what is our purpose? We are not an island. We are born as part of a community, to inter connect with those around us. However, for happiness to reign, our first connection is with God. The key, often missing, is thinking about others first. What do you think? Can you be a key in God's plan and purpose for other lives?

Words from John G Lake His Life His Sermons, His Boldness of Faith
Beloved, I want to tell you that
the soul joined to Christ and
who exercises the power of God,
ascends into that high consciousness of heavenly dominion
as it is in the heart of Jesus Christ today, for He is the overcomer, the only overcomer.
But yet, when my soul is joined to His soul, when
His Spirit flows like a heavenly stream through my spirit,
when my whole nature is infilled and inspired by the life from God,
I too, being joined with Him, become an overcomer, in deed and in truth. Glory be to God.
Yes, Holy God! Glory be to You! I choose to have my soul ~ my mind, my will, my emotions ~ joined to You, Jesus, and exercising Your power, as I ascend into the high consciousness of heavenly dominion as it is in Jesus’ heart today. That happens only when Jesus Holy Spirit flows like a heavenly stream, thru my spirit and my whole nature ~ the I who is fully human yet whose nature has been changed and likened now to the nature of Jesus; that is, infilled and inspired by life from God. My nature is infilled by God-life. God poured His blood into me and I am reborn as His descendent, His child whom He loves to the extreme. With God-life in me I am an overcomer! John G Lake was fully comitted to God, totally believing His Word and trusting Him:
I am glad that God has permitted man, even at intervals, to rise into that place of high dominion in God, for it demonstrates the purpose of God. It demonstrates that He purposes we should not only rise into the high place at intervals, but that this should be the normal life of the Christian who is joined to God every day and all the time.
And that is what I choose Lord! I want to live constantly in that high dominion joined to You where I am an overcomer indeed~ yes doing the works of/as Jesus ~ and in truth. I realize that takes commitment and radical obedience. I'm asking You Lord God to bring me to that level.
Christianity is not a thing to be apologized for, rather Christianity is the living conscious life and power of the living God, transmitted into the nature of man until, bless God, man's nature is transformed by the living touch, and the very spirit, soul and being is energized and filled by His life. Thus you become indeed, as Christ intended, a veritable Christ.
That startles some people. But the ultimate of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the ultimate of the redemption of the Son of God is to reproduce and make every man - bound by sin and held by sensuousness and enslaved by the flesh - like Himself in deed and in truth, sons of God. Not sons of God on a lower order, but sons of God as Jesus is. Yes we are to be, I am to be, God’s full child reproduced and made like Jesus in deed and truth in every way like Jesus fully and completely.
Paul declared, "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers." What for? "Till we all come...into the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ" [Ephesians 4:11-13]. Bless God. Not a limited life, but an unlimited life.
The idea of Christ, the idea of God was that every man, through Jesus Christ, through being joined to Him by the Holy Spirit, should be transformed into Christ's perfect image. Glory be to God. Christ within and Christ without. Christ in your spirit, Christ in your soul and Christ's in your body. Not only living His life, but performing His works by the grace of God. That is the gospel of the Son of God, I can live as Christ and do His works as He lives in me ~ Christ within and Christ without. . . in my spirit, my soul, and my body living His life and performing His deeds by the grace of God.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ's: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek" [Romans 1:16].
Romans 1:16 (The Message) It's news I'm most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God's powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts Him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! God's way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: "The person in right standing before God by trusting him, really lives."
Romans 1:16 (New Living Translation) For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile.
. . . Beloved, don't you see that Christianity was unselfishness itself. It had no consideration for the selfish individual. The thing held up above everything else in the world, and the only idea worthy of a Christian was that you and I and He Himself might demonstrate to mankind one holy, high beauteous thing, of which the world was deficient, and that was a knowledge of God.
My friends, John G Lake was a man who did indeed work in the power of God. His amazing life demonstrated what is possible when we know and follow the fullness of God's teaching.

Thank You Lord! You are my most phenomenal, marvelous God! You greet me this early morning with the light of the full moon streaming in my window. I say “good morning” to You too, my marvelous Creator! It’s Your light shining love upon me! It’s ‘I love you’ from my God!. How incredible is that! That You love me is amazing and that You show Your love for me is wonderful! How blessed I am to be so cared about by You! Your tenderness to me is a warm cover on a cold night. You protect me from a harsh world as You keep me in Your hand.
With Your protection in place, we can fearlessly venture forth to whatever you call us to do. We trust in You, Lord! Command Your will, and we will go.
Pv 16:3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him. He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
Our prayers can be a part of the victory here:
Psalm 33:8-11 Let all the earth fear the Lord [revere and worship Him]; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it was done. The Lord brings the counsel of the nations to nought; He makes the thoughts and and plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the Lord stands forever; the thoughts of His heart throough all generations.
Deut 1:6-8 The Lord our God said to us in Horeb, “You have dwelt long enough on this mountain, (Mary). Turn and take up your journey and go to the hill country of the Amorites...
(We can personalize the Scriptures when we feel the Words are speaking to us personally. Here I felt God instructing me 'it is time to move on to the next step')
Behold, I have set the land before you; go in and take possession of the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them and to their descendants after them
Isaiah 8:13 The Lord of Hosts - regard Him as holy and honor His holy name [by regarding Him as your only hope of safety], and let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread [lest you offend Him by your fear of man and distrust of Him.] And He shall be a sanctuary, [a sacred and indestructible asylum to those who reverently fear and trust in Him.]
O Lord! We do trust You. Remind us always that we have nothing to fear; we just trust in You to handle all situations!
Isaiah 14:24 The Lord of Hosts has sworn, saying, “Surely as I have thought and planned, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand...”
God loves us so much, He gifts us with beauty; and He's willing to do everything possible to help us to know and do His will thereby attaining an excellent life here and hereafter!
Ps 32:8 I (the Lord) will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you.
Phil 2:13 For it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you, energizing, [ and creating] in you the power and desire] both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
You are at work in us, Lord, energizing us; and it is You in us creating not just the desire, but also the power to do the work that pleases You. You enable us to do the work You have called us to do. Halleluia!

Grace is the free and unmerited favor of God. He gives it even though we have done nothing to deserve it. So how does it work? What does it do for us?
Romans 5:1-2 (The Message)
By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.
We praise You Jesus, You Who unlocked the doors of grace for us, Who opened the door to the paths of wisdom. Without You and without them, we are nowhere and no one doing nothing of eternal value. OK Here comes the part where pride can lift its insidious head. (Eternal value clicked on the pride button as tho I would be known for eternity and that is something to seek). Stupid pride!
Lord Jesus we seek to live a life You lived. Your value was to do the work of the Father; we seek to do the same. You showed us Who the Father is. . . our job is to spread the Word and show people Who the Father truly is! Give us words to sow for You Jesus. We are Yours to form and mold. Time is short and we find ourselves becoming impatient to do Your work. Please slow us down to Your divine speed Jesus. Please help us get this right.
Romans 5:1-2 (New King James Version) Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:1-2 (New Living Translation) Faith Brings Joy Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
This Scripture, Jesus, I have put in several translations to try and grasp it more fully; help us Holy Spirit. Jesus You came to give us fuller understanding of the Father. Open our eyes to fully grasp Your Word when we need the deepest meaning of it. Jesus You paid for the punishment of all our sins and Father God considered Your sacrifice as our debt 'Paid in Full'. This cleansed us so we could have a deep personal relationship with our Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
For me the best thing about Grace is that it does bestow on us the gift which enables a deep supernatural connection with God himself!. Hallelujah!

The Holy Spirit is so wonderful and faithful. I come to Him this morning feeling weak and downcast. So I ask Him for a Scripture to lift me up. He does not speak, so I go to Biblegateway and there is His answer:
[Psalm 95 NIV] Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.
You are so awesome Holy Spirit, so good to me! You give me this Scripture, then nudge me to play EKKLESIA, a very anointed album that goes way way back to celebrations we had in the old family room in the 70's and 80's. By the fireplace flames I played this album after all had left, and back then in the quiet and through these songs you ministered to my soul. Thank You!
AMEN! Praise and worship my God! I was wishing song words would stay in my head, but alas they rarely do. So Holy Spirit urged me to go to my song list; instead of my great songs of Julia True, I remembered EKKLESIA. So I play it, and my soul soars as sounds of anointed words and voices lift me up! Time spent singing along with these words left the downcast spirit way behind! Joy filled me, as I entered His Presence singing and worshipping my wonderful loving God! It’s Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the Holy Trinity so perfectly fulfilling my every need!
Oh, my Lord, words can never voice the wholeness of who I am with You, of who You are to me. I love You with my whole being! Thank You!
My friends, this morning was so blessed! If you wake up and joy has left your soul,
I advise you to begin praising God. If you are like me and singing is not your gift, play anointed songs. You may well have your favorite, so play the music and sing along. When songs have Scripture words they are especially powerful. Hearing and speaking brings extra power to the spirit! These words can raise up your spirit and pour divine power and strength into your being, lifting you into the very Presence of God Himself!
My friends, as we enter into the holidays / Holy Days, let us be drawn deeply into the seeking of a closer relationship and understanding of the mighty love of God for us!
