Hail/Heart Wounds

At first I heard noises like someone was upstairs. That was a little freaky. Then the noises came steadily pounding harder and harder. Oh no, I thought, it’s hail! I ran to the patio doors and watched these larger than marble size white balls blowing and bouncing off the roof and the walls. It was truly ferocious, and I was so happy our cars were in the garage, and that I was under a good roof. Farther north the hail was more golf ball size, and they did a lot of damage to any cars unlucky enough to be exposed! [The storm also created havoc in many businesses; a whole mall will be closed for months for repairs.]

As I watched in fascination the bedlam of criss
crossing balls zinging around our patio, I began thinking of the motorcyclists we saw on the road yesterday. Just picture being out in that~ could be a deadly assault either walking or riding exposed on a vehicle.

Life can be like that too, you know? All is cruising along smoothly when suddenly a phone call of hail stones arrives, or an accident hits; where is there to go with the fear or the pain? To some it’s just you and the 'hail'. However, one thing I have learnedd in my Christian walk with Jesus, is that not only am I never alone, but He is there with all the tools to repair the damage to the body or the heart. Our God loves us so much, and He is always ready to heal our wounds when we go to Him in faith and love.

Proverbs 18:10 (AMP)
The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].

He is a strong tower offering us shelter from any situation or enemy. Yes, enemy~ example: satan deceived Adam, causing him to lose paradise. Our ancient enemy is still looking for ways to take us out, or cause our minds to doubt God; it is a ruthless foe! But we have a powerful God!!

My friends, keep His faithfulness tattooed on your heart. It will carry you through any storm. Know Him. Trust Him!
