Like a child I humbly bow before Your throne my God. I repent that the enemy has persuaded me to doubt You, even momentarily. Now I am up and know that I know that You love me and take care of me. When Your Word speaks:
Isaiah 55:11 AMP
So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Then when Your Word says this:
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.
By the wounds His body suffered, healing is ours. He redeemed us from sin~ that sin of Adam that came to us through the tainted bloodline is cleansed. When we accept Jesus wonderful gift, we are purged of that sin and all sin. We are redeemed. When God looks at us we are shining bright and pure through that shed blood of Jesus. It allows us to come close to God, be in heaven in His presence. Nothing of evil can come close to God, for it would be destroyed, like paper~ if it's too close to a fire it burns up. I want to tell you a small story. My dear mother was a truly good woman who loved the Lord! Even after Alzheimers attacked her, she was drawn always to God. I recall we were on vacation one day and waiting to get picked up; Mom spied a church. She made a beeline for that house of God and just had to get inside! Understand, the disease had stolen her ability to speak, but her actions still told us where her heart was. When she was finally freed from her emaciated body, in my mind I ‘saw’ her dancing in a field of wildflowers. Finally her suffering imprisonment in the earthly ‘tent’ was over. She was free and gloriously happy! That’s what being freed from satan’s clutches does for us. We were held hopelessly chained to sin until Jesus came. By His suffering and death this God/man rose on the third day in victory! He had taken back the keys that Adam relinquished to satan thus releasing us from the devil’s binding grip, and opening the way to salvation for us all.
In accepting our Savior Jesus’ beautiful gift, we are individually freed from the chains that had bound us to sin. Like my Mom, freed from the earthly prison of her body, we are gloriously saved to live in the joyful light of Jesus. We can dance as David danced, abandoned to joy.
2 Samuel 6:14-15 (NKJV)
Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
My friends, Be released from your prison! Claim Jesus’ salvation gift for yourself! No matter your past or your present, Jesus forgives sin and when you repent of them, He is delighted to make you a new creation. Bow before Him and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. Live free!
