My dear friends, I greet you with a big smile! For there is another truth I was reminded of in the GPAN letter referenced last time. As I went through the spiritual battle mentioned in the last blog, I “felt “ a disconnect with God. I couldn’t seem to get through, and that was disturbing. So this morning I was determined to re-establish the connection. Guess what Holy Spirit did? Right! He came through again using the GPAN: "Communion. Where you are connected to God. And He’s connected to you. The blood of Jesus caused that to be. It was the blood that connected you to the Father in an unbreakable bond, an inseparable bond. The Bible says nothing shall separate us from the love of God. And it goes on to list all the different things it possibly could have, but nothing shall separate us from His love.
And when we don’t feel like God is connected to us, that’s not something that is real. That is a lie. That is something that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and His communion with you. It could be sin that does that. It could be strife. It could be any number of things that can separate you in your mind from Him.
But know this that you are never disconnected from Him. When you received Christ in your heart and accepted the blood of Jesus as the sacrifice for your sin, that connection was created and your perception of that connection is not relative to whether it exists or not. But I’m here to tell you this, that it’s not an issue of whether you’re connected or not. You need to resolve that issue right now once and for all. You need to know in your heart and in your mind that … believe that to be true. Because that’s what the Word says.
But know this: it’s kind of like a radio. You turn the dial and hear all the fuzz and then all of a sudden you hear a radio station and as you turn the dial, it gets stronger. Then all of a sudden, boom, it’s really clear and bold. You’re connected. That’s what connection is all about. It’s about finding the Holy Spirit is there to lead you on the path of righteousness for His name’s sake. He leads you into that place where He’s connected in communion with you. It could be a song or it could be just a word in the scripture where it comes to you at a time when you least expect it. And you take hold of it." [Or it could be a letter from Global Prayer Alert Network] These words reignited in me the ardent fire of passion for Christ! It zoomed right in and whoosh my spirit was once again a seething compulsion to be with my Lord and to walk His path and do His will! More, I so needed a deeper communion with Him to rest in His love, to be still and know His goodness. Holy Spirit, You are so powerful; You take me to Your heart, that I may know that I know, how magnificent is Your love for me! I am special, a daughter beloved by Her Father Who cares for her always, protects her from harm, and loves her outrageously! Oh, my friends, if you do not know God like this, I urgently ask you to seek Him, because It is there for you and will come with your heart felt request. Come walk with me in His extraordinary love! Watch light fill your being casting out the darkness that may lay in wait there.
