Our Father is eager for us to come

Do you remember, as a child, the eagerness inside on Christmas Eve? Or at the arrival at a much loved vacation place? Or the visit of a special friend? It’s that jump up and down excitement with eyes sparkling and a wide grin splitting the face. That is the feeling inside of me when I think about living with my God face to face.

Revelation 21:3 (AMP)
and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying,
“See! The tabernacle of God is among men,
and He will live among them, and they will be His people,
and God Himself will be with them [as their God,]

God loves us so much! Many think of God as a power living far away from us, out of touch. In today’s world the enemy is working hard to dismiss God altogether. Get Him out of schools, out of government, out of kid’s lives. We'll allow Him to live in church (for now). Unfortunately the enemy is being pretty successful.

Truth is, God created us as His children to live with us and enjoy life together with us. Our original parents spoiled the plan by listening to satan and betraying God. That original sin got them and their descendants
(us ) kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Our God is all knowing and planned for this deception of the enemy. His plan was Jesus. Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth as a man and reintroduced Father God to us, took the punishment for our sins on His back, created the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to indwell us, and retrieved our heavenly inheritance.

So now as these end time months continue to speed by, we are left with some new things to meditate on. Is it true? Are these really the end times? Is that why time has sped up? What should I do?

There are many signs and occurrences indicating that these are indeed the end times. My friends, please know that the absolute most important thing to do is to be sure you have gotten to know Jesus and made Him Lord of your life. Admit you sin, then thank Him for taking the punishment that was our debt to pay. Then He will help you throw off the evil temptations of the enemy, and live your life for God, and it is a good life! Love and joy will filter into daily living. A building relationship with God brings new discoveries and excitement.

Hebrews 7:25 AMPC
Therefore He (Jesus) is able also to save
to the uttermost
(completely, perfectly, finally,
and for all time and eternity)
those who come to God through Him,
since He is always living to make petition to God and
intercede with Him and intervene for them.

When our last hour comes there will be no fear, only joy at being with God in person. He’ll eagerly greet us with love.
