No Fear!

The enemy keeps trying to find ways to punch a hole into my spirit, but my spirit is too strong! His latest maneuver is to try to instill doubt as to the Lord’s care for me. Earlier this week I had a mammogram, and then a day later came a phone call, “We found something and you need to come in for a another exam.” The sweet caller was so concerned about me worrying, and I guess that is a common reaction. But my response was just “Ok” and we set a date.

Fear could not enter in because my Daddy God said He would take care of me. When your powerful Father, Creator of the Universe, loves you so much and promises to take care of you, what is there to fear?

Father God has been with me forever, and I’ve kinda known Him that long. Yet when I accepted His Son Jesus as my Lord and Savior, a whole new paradigm shift occurred. His Word came alive to me, and I came to know my God on a deeper level that filled me with His love. The vastness of the spiritual world showed me how supernatural power of a mighty God can work. It led me into a place of connection and more. It became a oneness.

It is God’s desire that we become one with Him. Jesus said in

John 17:21-23
That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You,
that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe
and be convinced that You have sent Me.

22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me,
that they may be one [even] as We are one:

23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united,
that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me
and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.

Indeed God sent Holy Spirit to dwell in me, be one with me. He and I together live my life now. I found that Holy Spirit loves me, personally, and that revelation took me to a whole new level. When you feel His love and hear His voice, nothing can mislead you. God created me with purpose; so wherever, whenever, however I can accomplish this, I am available. He is so in love with me! My favorite gift is to just rest in His Presence. Nothing is more satisfying and peaceful.

When storms arise (like that phone call) and they always will, I just go to the One who calmed the storm, and He keeps me in peace. I know how much my God loves me, so nothing can penetrate the shield of His love.

Matthew 8:23-28 (NKJV)

23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea,
so that the boat was covered with the waves.
But He was asleep.
25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying,
“Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?”
Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be,
that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

Are you in the midst of a storm today and feeling threatened? Almighty God can save you from any tempest. Do not allow the enemy to instill fear into your spirit, for all solutions can be found in Him who calmed the wind and the waves. All can go to Him, for He is trustworthy.
