Knowing of Your Presence thrills me and subdues me. My mind jumps ahead . . . what great plan have You got for me?! What mighty deed may I do for You?
God responds, “All I ask is that you walk one day at a time with Me obeying My commands. I will ask nothing of you that I will not give you the strength to complete it.”
That’s a little scary Lord. . .
“But Mary, you know I will never leave you nor forsake you. I’ll give you nothing that is more than you can handle. Trust Me!”
Psalm 55:21-23 (NLV)
22 Give all your cares to the Lord and He will give you strength. He will never let those who are right with Him be shaken.
Holy Spirit, as the years gather behind me, the reckoning of their weight is a veil over my body limiting me physically. You have taught me and brought me to this place. My vision in the natural may not be perfect, but You can focus it 20/20 on Your truth. Let me see truth, Holy Spirit, and guide me to tread in it. It’s You who helps me journey each day in Your will. One day at a time, I continue down my life road rounding each curve as you lead trusting in You for what's around each bend.
It's not a huge thing He asks of us, but I still sometimes find it difficult. How about you? Is He asking something big from you? Or is the simple daily walk a challenge? What do you find most difficult?
