The Last Walk in the Garden

It’s dark of night, but out in the universe little jewels sparkle, while a fingernail moon makes it’s journey across the sky. I'm just standing and watching in the quiet early morning. Senses are just waking up, and a small smile dawns on my face, as I recognize the peace of His nearness.

Drawing my jacket closer to keep out the chill, I walk up the hill, and huddle on a rock while pondering the question I bring to my Lord. The night stills even more~ Jesus is here. “Good morning Lord”. With His gentle smile He responds, “Come, walk with Me. I know your heart has questions, but remember some answers are not for you yet. My Holy Spirit lives in You, Mary. He knows all just as I know all.”

Yes, Jesus. You and the Spirit are One. Being with You, seeing Your eyes, feeling the touch of your hand, hearing Your words all move me with a special kind of joining in our relationship, a treasure. These walks in the garden have been a joy to me, Lord.

As I face the unknown ahead, I will remember to lean into You when I am feeling unsure or fearful and focus on You and watch where Holy Spirit leads. And I’ll trust in You and not allow personal challenges to capture my attention at the cost of seeing the needs of others. Love is the road I will follow with Your help.

Holy Spirit show me how to deal with each challenge. You told me when I fought the cancer enemy that I was healed. That’s all I needed. This is a different attack and I’m waiting on You.

Your only response is “Trust in Me, Mary.”
"Lord", I say, ”I will trust in You.”

Isaiah 41:10,13 (NKJV)
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed,
for I am your God. I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you
with My righteous right hand.’

41:13 For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,
Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’

That's all I need to know.

How do You deal with the unknown?
