Thanksgiving. Really?

Thanksgiving was yesterday. So now do we go back to our ‘regular life’ and move on? Was it just a day? And this year even that ‘day’ was encroached on by greed. Shop! Shop! Shop! Get the deals! Couldn’t wait one day; had to begin on the one day of the year dedicated to thanking God for all the blessings He has given us. Yes, He has given us!

Our culture is sneaking steadily away from God, our praising, our very recognition that there is a God. God has been a vital part of our nation since it’s inception. Now we reach the place where we can no longer dedicate one day out of 365 to thanking Him. How does ungratefulness make you feel? Do your kids have an ungrateful spirit? Your siblings? Your friends? Do you accept that? Wonder how Father God takes our lack of appreciation of all He has done for us?

We are so in need of help at this time in our history. God’s supernatural intervention must come, or we will find ourselves in dire straits, places where the storms of darkness, horrendous winds of fear, and huge waves of debt and want will be attacking us. We are so complacent as a nation we believe nothing like that can come against us. Our lack of wisdom and knowledge will be our downfall.
Hosea 4:6-7 (NKJV)
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Because you have rejected knowledge,

I also will reject you from being priest for Me;

Because you have forgotten the law of your God,

I also will forget your children.

7 “The more they increased,

The more they sinned against Me;

I will change their glory into shame.

Father God, there are those still in this nation that love, honor, and obey Your commands. We beg You to have mercy on our country. We bow before You in submission and love. We lift our hands in worship and prayer asking Your help in spreading Your Word, gathering in Your flock which the wolf has scattered. Lord, we know You hear our prayers. Thank you! Thank You!

It’s time for the people of this world to gather together bowing down in worship to our mighty God. Only He can stop evil from destroying us all. Let us gather together in prayer asking for God Jehovah’s glorious might necessary for attaining the final victory.
