Holy Spirit Power In Us

Holy Spirit, Thou art God, part of the Trinity. You indwell me to be my Guide, my Counselor, my Comforter, my Intercessor, my Advocate, my Strengthener, and my Standby. You try to keep me out of trouble, but if I make a mistake, You are there for me to be my advocate and intercessor, my strengthener. If the enemy attacks creating a problem, You are there in me with wisdom and counsel to make things right. Thank You Holy One! How great You are, yet You come to me, small and insignificant as I am. Thank You for Your mighty love; You lift me up, make me more than I am, all because You love me and choose to be a major part of my life.

I think people don’t know what to do with You; they do not know You nor how You can help them. Jesus is easier to grasp as He had a human nature, a body, a face and the Bible has recording of His physical time here on earth.

What many do not see is that until You came upon Jesus after His fast in the desert, He did not do miracles ~ His first recorded miracle was the marriage feast at Cana. Your creative power worked through Jesus. When He knew it was about time for His sacrifice of pain and death, Jesus told us
John 14:25-27(AMP)
I have told you these things while I am still with you.

But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]

He promised the Father would send You in Jesus Name, in His place, to represent Him and act on His behalf, and be our Teacher. Then it is no mistake that immediately following this promise, Jesus promises His peace. That's  not a worldly peace, but a supernatural peace where we are able to remain peaceful no matter what the circumstances.

When we trust Holy Spirit, we have the ability to keep our hearts free from troubled and fearful thoughts; He strengthens us! He helps us keep our eyes focused on the Father, and on Jesus and the Word.

Holy Spirit, I bow down to You, my God, my Triune God. Confusing, but True. Three persons, one God ~ one helpful comparison aiding understanding I’ve heard is water:
water has three facets ~   (1)liquid, (2)gas [steam] and
(3)solid [ice]. Different in appearance but all H2O. Jesus loves us and was excited to send Holy Spirit to us. See:

John 16:7(AMP) However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

He sends Holy Spirit to be in close fellowship with us, promising it will be advantageous to us to have the Third Person of the Holy Trinity indwelling us! Well, duh! We have God Himself living in us as Friend, Counselor, Teacher, powerful Advocate. . . God Himself! Oh, my friends, can you grasp the power of this? No wonder Jesus said “Nothing is impossible for us”. God indwells us, His power is ours to use when we develop a deep relationship with/through Holy Spirit, and we use it according to His will.

Matthew 17:20 (AMP)
He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.

So my friends, do you have a knowledge and friendship with Holy Spirit?
