Live With Passion!

With a whimper and a shout the baby enters the world. Chilly and feeling abused, it squirms with a frown on its face. Then a loving touch cleans the child, wraps it securely in a soft warm blanket, and places it in the sweet embrace of its mother. Content now, the child’s eyes close and sleep comes gently.

What knowledge does this new one have of the world around it? There is cold and pain, and there is warmth and gentleness and sweetness. From this age till now, what do we learn of the world? There is cold and pain; there is warmth and gentleness.

What comprehension of this do we assimilate in the intervening years? Most critical to a depth of true accomplishment in our life, is that our knowledge of God is refreshed, is built up like a bricklayer setting one brick on top of another (a structure is erected). Every year knowledge grows from the firm foundation to an ever expanding edifice. But I am on the inside not the outside barred from entry. Some people cannot see that the walls are not formidable to keep them out; rather they are easily penetrated, welcoming, to enfold them as they enter in to an atmosphere of love and strong gentleness. There comes a time when we all must choose to enter in and commit to a life lived for Christ, IF we want our walk and our eternity to be a marvelous gift of love. Sadly, some reject the gift and choose to remain outside.

In this life we are all called to a purpose; God did not create us to be a parasite, a wallower, or lazy. He put potential in each one of us, and it is backed by special gifts to enable us to fulfill that potential. Life is meant to be a wonderful journey of discovery. As we grow and learn what our calling is, we will find excitement, happiness and even joy. Are there difficult and painful times? Yes. How else are we to grow strong? But the truth to remember is that in those hard times, we have a loving God who will walk through them with us.

Choosing Christ is not just for eternity, but it enables us to walk strong and tall throughout the journey. We have a supernatural guide leading the way. Indeed, Holy Spirit, God Himself, has chosen to indwell us. Do you see it?!!

Our passage through time on this earth is guided by the Almighty God! He loves each one of us and wants the best for us; so when committed to Him, His leadership will bring us to the best destination for every excursion, every exploratory jaunt, every life road we select.

When we accept Jesus’ gift of salvation, and as we make the choice to live for Him, we find inside our hearts a pulling in different directions. In following these ‘messages’ from God, our life takes on exhilarating challenges, and we expand our inner knowing of the truths of God. Our spirit within begins to communicate with Him on a deep and personal level. The journey blossoms in joy. It is the extraordinary trip of life lived with passion for a greater purpose ~ to know intimately, to love, and to obey our glorious Lord God! Then all the rewards will, like a fountain, deliver an amplification of joy in every daily appointment, action or exploit!
