Psalm 42:11 And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my countenance, and my God.
Indeed why should we be disquieted? Evil reports are to be discarded, because we serve a mighty God! He is our Healer and our Strength! We choose not to allow our emotions and thoughts to fall into a sinkhole! we shall wait in expectancy for the inevitable good report. Is this “assuming” something? Assuming is not always a good thing. But knowing is good.
Question: Is the Bible the Word of God? Yes. It is.
Question: Is God faithful to His Word? Yes, just see:
Jeremiah 1:12 (AMP) Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.
Isaiah 55:9-11 (NKJV)
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
And do not return there, But water the earth,
And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
God says He'll watch over His Word TO PERFORM IT
God says His Word will accomplish what He pleases and will prosper in the thing for which He sent it Two different prophets speak the same:
God does perform His Word
Question: What Word applies to my situation? Words about Healing? Look in the Word and see how God loves each of us:
. . . Fear not, for I have redeemed you [ransomed you by paying a price instead of leaving you captives];
I have called you by your name;
you are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.
Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life
by absorbing it completely into himself.
Do you remember the Scripture that says, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"? That is what happened when
Jesus was nailed to the cross: He became a curse, absorbing all curses into Himself and at the same time dissolved the curse. [the curse Adam brought to the human race by his betrayal of You, my God]. You, Jesus, absorbed the curse into Yourself freeing us from it. We accept Your gift of freedom from all curses! Thank You!
Disease and illnesses are curses. Jesus absorbed them all into His body on the cross, and then dissolved them. Whatever kind of curse the enemy is attempting to put on us, it has already been absorbed on the cross and disintegrated! Thank You Father for making total healing possible! Thank You Jesus for Your work on the cross that accomplished the defeat of evil! Thank You Holy Spirit for showing our minds the truth! Let us walk in it!
