At the beginning of this new season of Spring I took a moment to study it at a deeper level. Many are saying that it’s been strange. For those not from Colorado, Spring so far seemed to be a battle, as though Winter did not want to give up its control of nature. Snow and bitter cold temperatures continued to reign. Have heard that nature often reflects what’s going on in the spirit world. Interesting. . . The Word says in the last days, hearts will grow cold. Seems that is happening now. Evil is warring to suck love and warmth from many souls. Sin abounds. Babies die unborn. Children are kidnapped and abused. Reason is submerged in agendas. Elderly are about to be written off.
Hope is not dead however. Spring began to conquer the weekends, then winter took the victory over the first three days of the week. However, it appears as though Spring has finally won the war. We still are receiving our much needed moisture, but it is in the form of rainstorms not snow. So, you see, hope is not gone! In the earth, we need to persist in the battle against evil, allowing the love of God to flow through us to all we meet!
Hope indeed! Did you read the end of the book? We win! But we must act. We can still pray and more, we can bring the Gospel to the people. When Jesus lives in the heart, love prevails! It will always overcome evil’s coldness. My friends, look around you; are you still making time for family and friends? Are you quick to take offense? OR are you able to easily forgive and brush off a misspoken word?
Come, my friends! Cheerfully love God! Let's love all who cross our path, for ALL of us are God’s kids. Jesus died for each of us, because of His mighty love. Father God loves us as well. He created us; We’re His children. His tender care for us affirms His love daily.
Sometimes I try to bring You, Lord, down to where my human brain can understand You; but I know that does not encapsulate Who You are. You are holy, holy, holy! I lift You up and worship You! Your immeasurable greatness and power speaks so loudly, my ears close up with overwhelming incomprehension; my mind reaches into Your vastness, searching for You, and You smile and manifest Your presence, and I am blessed and secure in Your love and goodness.
