In these last days, Christmas is attempting to be changed as satan works to spread his evil across this country and the world. Our past Christmas joy seems to be transformed into sorrow for the desperately hurting today. The slaughter of innocents and heroes brings such pain to the whole nation, as we watch the families of the slain travel through tremendous grief. We pray, Father God, that You will take the torment of satan's evil deeds and bring consolation to all the people whose hearts are full of tears. But let us not forget, Jesus still reigns!
Father, God of fire, come burn in our hearts! Let courage and determination cause us to stand strong as a people, cause us to stand in righteousness to be the people You have called us to be. We were born in a nation that originated with people seeking freedom ~ freedom to worship You, and You blessed this nation.
We stand together in agreement that this nation shall return wholeheartedly to You. That righteousness shall prevail here; that we the people shall raise up altars to You across this land. We shall be priests of prayer to combat the enemy’s altars. The shed blood of Jesus and all the innocent blood that the enemy has shed shall be a call for prayers of righteousness in this country.
We shall stand together to battle as Your prayer warriors, Lord. Lead us Holy Spirit in the cries of our heart for people. You said Lord if we repent and seek Your face with all our hearts You would bring healing to our land!
I remember a trip to Scotland where we learned about the fierce Scottish warriors; the whole troop would face their enemy in battle running at them roaring savage war cries and the enemy would be terrified and were destroyed. We have an evil enemy in this land, and we need to face it with the same fierceness in our souls, determined to win. Our cries need to be piercing battle cries of our hearts to go after and rid this land of evil. It takes standing together in prayer. As Pastor Joshua taught, let us raise up altars across America, altars to the Almighty God Whose land we inhabit. As we repent for the sins of America, and seek Him with all our hearts and souls, He will heal our land.
