Twinkling eyes are wide open in excitement as words pour out like water from a pressure hose. Tune the ear to general and raise the comprehension focus to high. My eyes behold body signs signaling great excitement! “You’ll never guess", my little one said. . . !!
Heart lifting contagious moments that only children can inspire. Why? When they get excited it’s with their whole being! There body fairly leaps out of its skin! Their eyes glow, their mouth forms a huge grin as words tumble out.
As we grow up, our tendency is to tamper down exuberance. We are more proper, contained. But hey, when we are dealing with God Himself, our whole body, soul, and spirit is involved! Allow yourself the experience of exuberance just knowing Him and being in His presence.
Do you understand God has that same excitement about us? Where do you think children get it? God loves us, delights in us, and is elated when we turn to Him in love! Our Father is exhilarated by our delight in Him!
My grandchildren have taught me: be excited about God; allow that exuberance to blast forth from our being! He is Father; He is Protector; He is Savior; He dotes on us in tender love! God is almighty, all knowing, all accepting, all powerful!
Don’t be too proud to be excited, too fearful to act. Know the magnificent attributes of our God, and in obedience spread the truth with twinkling eyes, smiling mouth, and words leaping with elation! Share the truth of our God with childlike eagerness. Let enthusiasm overflow from you!
