Holy Spirit Strength and Power

Did you ever find yourself in the land of irritability and depression? I did a coupla weeks ago, and that was strange unpleasant territory for me. So I prayed to the Lord to please lead me out of it and show me what was going on. Now God is so faithful and He always responds to heartfelt prayer for guidance. I set aside about 7 hours on a Saturday morning. . . 4:30am to noon determined to get answers, and the ever faithful Holy Spirit provided them. He took me through some Scriptures and some teachings by Lynne Hammond. The two fit together perfectly!

The Holy Spirit is so powerful and Lynne shared her teaching on that. “Parakleet” in old Greek translates as Comforter. Now the meaning of 'comforter':
Derived from the Latin word for fortress, the term comforter was chosen by the first translators because it refers to a person who is brave, strong, and courageous, like a warrior who meets challenges with a strength that defies all odds. It speaks of someone who is lionhearted or tough, or a force that dominates and subdues.
When Jesus said He would send us the “Comforter”, just  look at the power He gave us!!

The Comforter will enable us to be stalwart and strong. He’s not just here to console us and sympathize with our situation. His unbeatable power leads us courageously out of enemy territory in victory. And He’ll do it, no matter what we’re going through, if we will lean into Him by faith and let Him operate through us. Then we become the lionhearted, courageous warrior who can face the enemy in every situation triumphantly!

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Opera. I'm not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with internet browser compatibility but I thought I'd post to let you know. The layout look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Cheers

of course like your web-site but you have to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very bothersome to inform the truth then again I'll certainly come back again.
