Father, my God, humbly I sit at Your feet. Jesus washed the feet of His apostles teaching humility. I would like to wash the feet of my Jesus, hold them tenderly, massage them gently, kiss them, just loving Him through this act of service ~ as did Mary. I can identify with her this morning. Don’t want to DO today; just want to sit at Your feet and adore You, worship You, praise You, and feel Your loving Presence surrounding me.
In all things You are Lord, You are God. None is greater nor mightier than You. Wonderment fills my heart just looking at Your creation ~ it’s beauty glorifies You; it’s uniqueness praises You. Creation’s infinite variety from the smallest atomic particle to the hugest creature, the highest most rugged mountain, to the immensity of the universe ~ all reflect the magnificence of Who You are! The design and inner workings of all things come together to declare Your awesomeness!
My God, as I sit in my very mundaneness, my insignificance, I must try to see me as You see me. You created me as Your very own beloved child. You gave me uniqueness ~ like a snowflake there is none other like me. You put Your purpose in my life and supply me with all I require to fulfill that purpose. Lord, thank You for giving my life meaning, even when at times I fail to see it.
