As we walk through the veil, cross over into a new year, what questions control your steps? Some walk hesitantly with fear and trepidation, wary eyes darting to and fro. Still others carry sorrow forward progressing hopelessly, a bent over, burden-bearing slave of Old Testament times. Then there are those who look forward to the future with hope for a better year than 2010. What determines the attitude?
Those who walk with the Lord move confidently with a jaunty step and a smiling countenance. For they have given their life to Him, putting all things in His hand. They know how truly their God loves them and how countless are His promises. He is faithful and will care for them perfectly. Whatever comes during the year will be a blessing in their lives, for they know their God will turn all things to good for them as they serve Him. No fear can attack them; they are shielded.
Confidence can be yours. Fear can be a thing of the past. Joy is yours for the asking when you choose Jesus as your King. Learn of Him truly, not from servants of the enemy with his lies and deceits, but from the staunch Word of faith. Seek truth. Find Him. Live a life of strength and victory.
