Oh dear Holy Spirit, how can we please You this morning? “We bow down to You, give You rulership over who we are. Live Your life in us. We give our life to You; do with it as YOU will."
We are a host for You Holy Spirit God. Such privilege is almost overwhelming! Help us be more constantly aware of the treasure we hold, Lord. Your holiness indwells us, since You inhabit us. Help us grow and live in truthful understanding of all that is incorporated into Your indwelling habitation, Lord! We want to be fully aware of how precious You are, and constantly mindful of this wonderful gift. |

Going through ferocious storms, being presented with immense mountains that must be climbed, encountering a giant of darkness, all situations in life are simply opportunities to gain new strength. In the Word, David is a great example of one who relied on and trusted in God in his struggles.
David went through deep distress in His life. He pleased the Lord well, because He always relied on and trusted in the Lord. Psalm 143 is a great example of his thought patterns:
Psalm 143:2-12(MSG) A David Psalm: 1-2 Listen to this prayer of mine, God; pay attention to what I’m asking. |

At the beginning of this new season of Spring I took a moment to study it at a deeper level. Many are saying that it’s been strange. For those not from Colorado, Spring so far seemed to be a battle, as though Winter did not want to give up its control of nature. Snow and bitter cold temperatures continued to reign. Have heard that nature often reflects what’s going on in the spirit world. Interesting. . . The Word says in the last days, hearts will grow cold. Seems that is happening now. Evil is warring to suck love and warmth from many souls. |

God's Word is powerful! For us to hear His will and His purpose for our own lives, we can ask Holy Spirit to guide us to the passages in His Bible that express God's will for us personally. This is a short study He led me through and I can share it with you. (Red print~Scripture. Blue print~me.)
2 Corinthians 5:10-20 (MSG) 9-10 But neither exile nor homecoming is the main thing. Here is an excellent beginning:Cheerfully pleasing God is the main thing, and that’s what we aim to do, regardless of our conditions |

Watched a little toddler, barely keeping herself upright ‘running’ all over the place ~ out the doorway exploring the halls of the church. What was in her mind, Lord? Most of her life she was unable to move around, and now having the new skill of walking, she had freedom!
I feel like that ~ knowing You, God, and what Jesus did for me and all Your kids ~ we are free to roam through Your Kingdom Jesus.
Colossians 1:13(NKJV) He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, |
